Hi, I’m Matt

I spent years in the daily grind of working in Sydney, and eventually, the long hours took their toll and I found myself experiencing anxiety and depression.

I decided to join a gym and worked with a personal trainer. This experience and the positive effect it had on me made it clear to me how beneficial exercise was to achieve a happier lifestyle and better health.

After achieving my own goals with the help of a mentor and personal trainer I was inspired to help others. I knew that with my holistic approach supported by a background that combined Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) with health and fitness, I had a great toolkit to help other people achieve their goals in the same way that I had been helped by others.

Since completing my training I have worked with a range of clients; covering weight loss, general health and fitness, strength and conditioning. I have also worked with allied health professionals such as osteopaths and physiotherapists to help people suffering from back pain – a common ailment amongst those of us who work in an office during the week.

It’s not all work and no play. I practice what a preach and live a balanced life, with plenty of time for getting out in the sunshine surfing and cycling. I take part in Surf Life Saving and compete in IRB Racing.

I’m naturally a people person and enjoy working with people from all walks of life, young and old, men and women. I believe in a holistic approach to personal training and our sessions are tailored to your needs – and fun is always on the program!
